Has anyone hard chromed their CZ75? How about other finishes?

I've noticed some small 'dings' in the CZ parkerizing and have been thinking about refinishing.

Thanks,

I can't tell you about the CZ-75, but I had my stock slide Kimber with the parkerized finish hard chromed by Virgil Tripp. The slide flats are polished and the final appearance, on the parkerized frame, is beautiful.

I'd highly recommend him and the hard chrome finish.

There's a guy over on czforum that has posted at least one thread about his "Custom Compact". I believe he had the frame hardchromed. You might inquire there.

Nice site, I may get a kit and experiment on knives.

But dont get the "Electroless Krome", it's not the one you want. That is soft stuff.

You want the true "hardchrome" kit. You'll need electrical current and fume venting.

CWL,
Yea, they seem to have a bit of everything and for not a ton of $$.
The electroless kit was what the Hi Power poster had used and the
pictures were really nice. No idea how it holds up. When I see fume
hoods and stuff I kind of shy away.

DOES THIS COUNT?

I had AP&W hardchrome one of my Witnesses (about seven years ago).
Got about sixty zillion rounds through it; no problems. (No really, about 60 zillion.)

But noone seems to have any pictures? Hrm. Couldn't find that CZ on CZForum. Virgil Tripp didn't write back to my email.

Hrmph.
