Ruger refinishing service opinions.

I'm thinking of sending an MKII back for the refinishing service. I've heard good reports about it in the past and I was wondering if anyone here has done it and what the results were? The MKII is blued and I'm interested in a reblue, but even more so I think it would be nice to have a hard chromed finish. I don't think Ruger offers this, though others do. I know Tripp Research used to do a nice NP3 finish.

If I send a pistol out for a refinish, I'll send it to Mahovskysmetalife. Having seen photos of their work over decades, it's always been impressive. Pricing seems very reasonable, to boot.

There's a pretty good chance that Ruger will refinish the MKII at no charge.
