Refinishing old Daisy

First, what paint would you recommend for trying to get as close to 1960's Daisy "blue" black finish?

Second, does anyone make and sell Decals for the "receivers" of such a refinished gun?

Third, is there any way to correct the bend in a plastic stock that developed from 30 plus years of leaning n a closet?

Perhaps you could build a jig to slowly correct the bend or use a heat gun. You would have to be very careful not to over do it.

Restorations can be such persnickety affairs and the traditional user base of Daisy airguns just doesn't seem the type. I kind of like the well earned patina of an old BB gun, kids can treat stuff pretty hard.
Maybe Daisy could give you some help on which paint to use. Please come back and tell us what you come up with.
