Anyone found a good load for 155gr Palma with CFE.223 out of 16" BBL,.308Win ,AR? Using both standard and magnum CCI primers I have been unable to find a load that has any consistent accuracy. I have found a good load with IMR4064 but hate the way it meters from my powder measure.

When I load IMR4064 I throw a light charge and finish the charge with a powder trickle. Since I want consistent match type ammunition I just take the extra step.

Another powder I like is Accurate 2495 which in my rifles has given very good results. Other powders I like are VIHT N-135 and VIHT N-140. However my AR is a 24" barrel with a 1:12 twist so I have no clue how those powders will perform in your rifle. This year as soon as it warms up a little I want to get back to working with the Accurate 2495 using in the 39 to 42 grain range.

This thread would likely fare much better in the hand loading/reloading section.

I do a similar step in that I charge light from the powder measure and trickle to finish the load, but I load much heavier bullets. I use both the 175 SMK and 178 Amax, so my loads probably won't be helpful.
