Reloading component availability

That is pretty steep.

Good to know it's available. Definitely wasn't any at SW in Everett that last few times I was there, but I only get in there every two to three months.

Next week I'll be driving right past a BassPro, a different SW and a Cabela's, so I guess I'll duck into each to check for a pound, which would do for my fireworks for quite a while.

I went to two SWs and called two more yesterday. No 2400 to be found.

But I did score 500 Federal Large Pistol Match standard primers for 8 cents a pop, which isn't bad considering that the nearest Cabela's wanted 10 cents each for Winchester LPs. No doubt it helped with availability that the SW in question is not located right in any large metro area (Kelso WA).

The component drought is still pretty bad in central KY. I haven't seen large rifle primers on a shelf in Lexington in at least 2 years. I did manage to get a couple of sleeves of large rifle magnum primers a month or two ago. Other size primers are available, but not cheap.

Powder availability is improving, but still spotty. Sportsman's Warehouse seems to have the largest inventory, but mostly stuff I don't want.

Our SW still has large pistol and rifle primers. They seem to be getting a steady flow. I've bought 8k so far from them, I go in once a week when I have the time off, and they don't always have all four types of primers but it isn't a week that they will have the one they were missing last week.

Still $59.99/k across the board, including large rifle. (Unless they will ring up as a brick price, like Remingtons and some Fed).

Their powder inventory is lacking but still good compared to everywhere else around here.

Still can't find 20 gauge shot shells and IMR 4064 around here. Been a long time since I've seen either one of them. I may have to go to IMR 4895 or Varget. I see them once in a while.

My wife keeps rolling her eyes at me every time I come home with another brick. As long as they are selling at that price locally, I will keep buying.

My local Cabelas had 40 or so different powders and all the small primers and large pistol but prices still high yesterday
