Seconded. They're generally great. I have three Pedersolis and they're all really well built, fit and finish is terrific, good quality wood. I've never seen their Zouave though.
The reason why I got the Zoli was that I'd been hearing good things about them, and then I was asking a friend with an extensive collection about them and he pulled out two - one a short carbine version, very cute - and he had positive things to say and I could see that it was a nicely put together rifle, although not to Pedersoli standards. But it's not my primary black powder rifle, I just wanted something to try shooting minie balls out of. So I started bidding conservatively on gunbroker and eventually got a really nice one at a more than reasonable cost.
