Rem 700 Frankenstein Question

I was looking at the Remington 700 VTR at a gun show today, and I love the look, size, and feel of it. One problem: I'm a lefty. Since the only difference (as far as I can tell) between the VTR and the SPS Varmint is the barrel, could I get a lefty SPS Varmint and put a VTR barrel on it? Also, how would I go about doing that? Is that the kind of thing I could special order from Remington, or would I have to find the parts and have a gunsmith do it for me? Either way, anyone have any idea what it might cost me?

Yes...its that simple.

It won't cost much...factory Remington barrels are cheap and not hard to find...check at SniperHide forum.

Myself...I'd leave the SPS Varmint barrel on it.
