I have read quite a few times that there is a reson Remington puts those barrel pressure buttons at the forend of the stock. One trip to the range there was another fellow shooting a very nice custom built $4,000 rifle. He came over to look at my as he was looking through his spotting scope at my target. I said I was trying to decide on the stock I wanted to change to. He asked if the stock was comfortable to me, to which I replied "yes". He then said don't blow the money as I am already getting close to .5moa. He then told me how his stock SPS shoots very close to his custom built rifle.
I believe too many people are quick to jump into changing this and that. How many posters come on her showing off their new purchase and saying they have this and that ordered for it, and they still haven't even fired a shot through it.
