Is there a Rem 700 stock that would have height(Cheek rest) and length of butt stock adjustments as many long range precision rifles have?

Can the Rem 700 PSS stock be easily modified to allow for such adjustsments?

What's the likely cost of either option?

You can get a McMillan stock with the added options of an adjustable cheek piece and a 3-way adjustable butt plate system or a spacer system.

HS Precision's new "tactical stocks" can also be purchased with and adjustable cheek piece and/or adjustable length of pull.

Expect to pay $500-$800 for a stock with these options from McMillan or HS Precision.

Personally, I don't think you will ever need an adjustable length of pull unless you plan on letting other people use the rifle. As far as a cheek piece for higher cheek weld, get an Eagle Industries stock pack and add padding under it if you need to get a higher cheekweld.

You might also want to look into the Varmint and Tactical offerings from Choate.

Both the McMillian and HS Precision stocks are great. Mcmillian probably being a little better. But if you want a stock thats virtually, indestructable and very durable. Nothing compares to the Accuracy International Chassis. They will survive a nuclear blast ans still look the same as they did before. Impact Guns has the Short Actions for $500 and some change. You should look at these as well as an option.
