Hey y'all. I just found a Remington 722 for sale in .243 Winchester. It looks like it is in 85% condition with decent wood and a clean bore. The seller wants $400 for it. Whaddya think, is that fair?

THanks group.

To me it would be a good deal. Never had a 722 but my stepdad left me his 1948 model 721 in .270 Win. I thought it was a great gun. I have already given it to my son and hope he does the same.

I've had several different model Remington rifles (700 BDL, model 7, 700 LTR) and I would pick the 721 first for hunting. Really miss that gun.

yes, tell me as i,ll buy it and send you 25.00 for the info. eastbank.

722 are good rifles. They are a bit plain but had a reputation for being very accurate shooters. I've had a 721 in 30/06 for 25 years and it's always been an exceptionally good shooter. I don't think 400 is a great price but I think its somewhat fair. I think I would offer $325-$350 since it is only 85% condition..
