Out of curiousity I went to Remington's website to see if they had any .22s that were similar to the Model 700... Voila!! They specify that the Model 547 has a bolt based off the 700.. I'm wondering if anyone owns one of these and how they shoot.. I'm also wondering how similar it is to the 700.. It looks like a very nice rifle and I've always wanted a bolt .22... Thanks..

Chute2thrill;

Is there some reason it has to be a Remington bolt action .22 rimfire? What's the price point on the thing? When I checked GunBroker, the only things I saw were in the la-la land price range.

If they truly are selling for over $750.00, I'd certainly check out the CZ452 guns. I can attest that they are a quality build & outstandingly accurate at about 1/2 the price.

I know they are really expensive and I wasn't planning on actually buying one anytime soon.. I just really like the way it looks and the fact its based off of its big brother so I was curious about how it shoots.. I know about the CZ and I imagine once I get around to buying a bolt .22 I'm more than likely going to be picking one up.. I've never heard a bad thing about the 452..

Well I went to Impact Guns and these rifles are around $1200... I can see why no one has one...
