Remington 700 ADL in 243 cal Youth Model Twist Rate?

ANyone knows of the twist rate for Remington 700 ADL Youth Model with 20 inch barrel? This is the model just before they discontinued a year ago and switched to SPS? Thanks

My son's is 1 in 10".

Not trying to be argumentative with you but i think Reminton is using a 1in9 twist with the 243. You can check their website. I'm sure its listed.

If its 1:9 then it be perfect for 85-100 gr bullets?

Yep thats why they chose it over the 1-10 that Winchester uses. They supposedly did the faster twist after everyone wrote bad reveiws on the 244 Remington rifles with a 1-12 twist because they wouldn't stabilize a bullet heavier than 90 grains.

Then they renamed the round to 6mm Remington. They use the same 1-9 twist for the 6mm and the 243.

Oops...you guys are correct...it is a 1 in 9"... I had forgotten about that. Remington did go to 1 in 9" after the 244 fiasco.
