remington 700

ok im in fixing a remington 700 for my friend. he said one day he was going to shoot it and he took the saftey off and the gun fired, well i got to looking at the trigger and the trigger conector is gone i think when he took it apart the trigger conector fell out, he cant spend alot to fix it thats why he didnt order just another trigger asembley.

where can i get a trigger conector?
can i up date the trigger with another part insted of the trigger conector?

Sorry, can't help. I usually buy parts from Numrich, but they're showing 700 trigger connectors as out of stock.
