I recently got a remington 870 express used at an auction. Was wondering what the pins that hold the trigger should be. This one has hex head threaded screws.
The receiver isn't threaded.
The 870 has grooved pins as standard and two "D" rings in the trigger group to retain them.
Here's Brownell's schematic, you need parts number 60 and 61.
The "D" rings are attached to the ends of the split bushings the pins pass through.
The rings are parts number 64 and 65. Check to see if the "D" rings are still present before buying new ones.
