Remington 887 Nitro Mag Tactical

Bought one of these new, paid $400. for it. 6+1, picatinny rail on top and on the side of barrel, 18" barrel and rust free coating. Accepts 2 3/4", 3" and 3 1/2". Runs great, goes bang every time I pull the trigger so, why does everybody bad mouth them?

Some of them have had problems. I have seen 2 with the coating peeling. I think the biggest problem is it is not an 870, and a lot of people love their 870s.

I was tempted on 887. Too many folks talked of too many issues. The cleaning requirement also is pita. If it works for you wonderful. Seems too many don't.
