I just saw these new 12 gauge Accutip sabots for the first time today. They look interesting enough I may try a few boxes.
After seeing smaller diameter sabot projectiles pass right on through bucks, I like the idea of using a larger .58 cal projectile.
Has anyone tried these yet for accuracy, or taken anything with them? I wonder how they really perform as far as wounding and expansion. The high-speed gelatin video on Remington's site is neat to watch if you haven't seen it. It shows the impact of one. http://www.remington.com/products/ammunition/shotshell/slugs/accuTip_bonded_sabot_slug.asp
