I'm gearing up to load 12 ga., so I went to the local skeet range, where they let me take any and all hulls I wanted. After culling the Mirage, Federal, and Rio hulls out, I ended up with around 150 Win AA gray and red hulls. I also ended up with about the same number of Remington Shurshot Dove load shells.
My question is this, are the Shurshot the same shell as STS, or gunclub? Are they even reloadable? I've been unable to find a credible source to say yeah or nay.
Thanks.

All hulls are reloadable if they are in good shape, but the load data is VERY specific to each and every exact hull, wad and primer combination. You would need to find load data specific to that hull.

Get the Lyman shotshell reloading book and read the chapters about components. In two hours you will learn more than enough, and you can rely upon the information.

Thanks Ants, it's not the load data I'm worried about, though. Using the Alliant Powder load data, I've found a combination of powder, wads, and primer usable in both AA and STS hulls. The only difference is the charge, which is easily changed.
I'm just trying to find out something about the Shurshot hulls, because info on them is scarcer than hens teeth.
