I've had one since late '97 or early '98. It's been great and as smooth as any 870 I've ever handled. I haven't shot a lot of 3.5's out of it, just a few on a couple of Goose hunts. I prefer one of my two 10 gauges for Geese. They kick less, and thats easier on my bad shoulder. It was my go-to gun for Ducks for several years before I moved on to gas operated semi-autos. I mostly shot 3" steel back in those days. It has worked great and reliably cycled every brand and length of shell I've ran through it. But it was made 12 years ago.
