So I'm trying to fix my great grand fathers Remington Fieldmaster Model 121 (SN 54056) and I'm stumped. It loads the shell just fine, fires but when it goes to eject it sometimes knocks the shell off the "bolt" but never really ejects the shell. The weird part is that if I cycle a loaded shell but never fire it, it will eject the shell as long as I'm very aggressive with the pump when going to eject it.

I'm not really sure what I need to look at here so I took a few pictures hoping someone can help me. From looking at it, it appears that the firing pin hits the back of the shell when the gun is pumped, which knocks the shell loose but then I can't tell whats suppose to actually eject the shell from the gun.

From the exploded drawings I have there should be an ejector screwed either into the frame or receiver. Can't tell from the drawings exactly *where* it is located. What you should look for is a small flat spring, basically "U" or "C" shaped attached by a single screw.

Ignore previous post, not enough coffee. Can't get the link to work right on this frikkin' dial-up connection so we'll try this........

Part #38 is the ejector spring. Looks to be screwed into the rear left of the frame, under the stock. If that's broken off it can't drive the ejector, which should be in the bolt.
