I'm thinking about picking up one of these. Anyone shot both? I haven't shot either.

I think the RM380 comes with two magazines while the LCP comes with one magazine. The RM380 feels better in my hand. If I get the LCP, I'm sure I'll be adding the Hogue LCP grip sleeve. Taking those two things into consideration, I'd say there's not enough difference in cost for money to be a factor.

Any comments appreciated. Negative or positives about either? I'm not looking for anything bigger than those 380's because I already have bigger pistols.

I don't think that I would buy the Remington this soon after its release. Remington has had a spotty track record with new release's in the last few years.
Let someone else be the Guinea pig.

If you look for deal - like on Slick Guns, you'll eventually be able to find the LCP for $199.99 shipped.

The lowest price I've seen on the RM380 so far is $299.99 + $29.99 shipping.

I'm not in a hurry to buy. I like the LCP Custom over the standard LCP. I may just wait around and see if a deal on the Custom shows up. Maybe I'll have a little more info about how the RM380 is faring by then, as well.

Go LCP stainless. The Ruger LCP black wears incredibly fast. The black barrel hood on my stainless LCP shows wear though its been barely shot.

no way on Remington
Ruger LCP gets my vote I own a LCP 380 cal. since 2012 must have close to a 1,000 rounds down the bore it has never failed to go bang

I held one last night at a gun store in Palm Bay. Not impressed, it had several marks and scratches on it for a new gun. This store is immaculate, and their guns are also. The one owner is the guys wife. They are neat freaks, so if it was that marked up already, I have to question the finish. Also the trigger pull was ay too long. It was never ending.
