hey there...
just purchased a remington spr 220 short barrel in 12g. as a shotgun newbie, i have a question about chokes. this thing comes with factory chokes, 1 each [C, IC, M, F]. since it is intended primarily as a home defense gun, what choke is best to use? it seems to me, i'd want the same choke on each barrel, but i only have 1 of each. anyone have a system they particularly like for home defense?
and letting my newbie flag fly here...is it necessary to use a choke at all? will it damage the threading if i just go without?
thanks.
and FWIW...$300 on gunbroker NIB. MSRP=$518 [model with functional hammers]
