Removing decapper i n lee dies

Yup, it takes a bit of force though. Just screw off the top portion of the die.

In my way of thinking the shaft should not be installed that tight. The shaft should be just tight enough to de-prime, but still allow the shaft to get pushed out of the way should a Berdan primer show up. But to each his own.
 
The decapping pin sizes the neck. How do you get around that if you remove it?
 
I do not deprime until after sizing and polishing so on my lee dies I use a set of small vise grips to remove the decapping pin on all my Lee bottle necked dies. This works well for what I do. YMMV
 
OP here:: i have the lee loadmaster and want to use the sizer in the priming station as a place holder and the universal decapper in the first spot.
