What's everyone using for removing minor burrs and tooling type marks from rifle steel? Specifically, i have a gas tube latch on an AK that got marred a little when some dummy used vice grips on it (even though I used a piece of rubber to avoid it).
I'm just trying to even out a few small gouges and then repaint.
It looks like I can either use some type of stone for filing it down or a fine tooth file. I don't really have any experience with either. Thanks for any help.
