Removing paste wax

I know many of you reccomend Johnson's Paste Wax as a release agent for glass bedding. How do you get it off when you're finished? Is there some chemical/liquid that will remove it more easily than simply scrubbing the action with hot soapy water?

Denatured alcohol from the painting supply at wally world , not isopropyl !

What would be wrong with rubbing alcohol?

Any gun oil will take it off. Oil has enough natural solvency to cut wax instantly. Rem oil is 50% mineral spirits according to their MSDS. This makes it a good cleaning oil.

I polish it to a shine with a cloth. The layer that remains is a rust barrier, and looks good.
