I have stated in a previous thread, that my experience with my existing sig 2022 has not been that great. Just a lousy trigger, from my perception. It is of the later 2022 design. I had an earlier model and I was happy with it, but alas a close friend of the family needed it more.
I have started looking around and have kind of narrowed my 40 caliber replacement to the Glock 23 compact or an M&P compact. Smaller grips appeal to my small hands.
Springfield has a compact as well, but not appealing to me. My preferred brand, CZ, has no current production 40s. My other favorite, Walther, don't think they offer anything new in a 40, but they do have a 40 PPS M1 which mimics my standard carry piece.
Any thoughts on my thinking process here? Not debating the 40 - I like to have a 40.Just don't like my current 40.
