Years ago my dad worked for a large automation company and with any large company comes waste. He was walking past the garbage collection area on the way to his car and spied four cases sitting there that were like new. Since they were going into the garbage he grabbed them figuring he'd find a use. Twenty years later they were sitting around unused and he asked me if I wanted them. YES!
I have two cats at home and their litter boxes are in the finished attic at the far end of the space. On the other end is my reloading bench. So dusting happens frequently. I have been looking for a better way to store my Dillon tool heads and powder measures to avoid the cats knocking them over or them getting covered in litter dust. Well this is it.
I needed some custom foam though and I found Appalachian Tough Gun Case Foam on Amazon. It isn't cheap but it's good stuff.

So with a lot of patience and careful razor blade work, I have a fantastic custom case for two toolheads and I got the die boxes and shell plate boxes in the other side. I also threw a reusable desiccate pack in the divider pocket.
I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I have three more cases and a third toolhead. I'll likely pick up one more powder measure at least and may fill one case with just toolheads and dies attached. I also have a Labradar that may get s dedicated case, but it's really bulky for that.
The next one I'm going to turn them 45 degrees and try it that way. I think they'll sit mor flush that way.
Anyway, I thought I'd share.
