I tried a couple searches before wanting to write this up but I think I have the 'one' finally when it comes to holsters. Obviously this is purely a subjective opinion and YMMV but I have to say this holster is the best design I have seen and worn.
My first skepticism of it was that it was going to be a little hard to wear and would be constantly falling on itself due to the one belt loop design of it. But honestly this thing is STIFF. I carry a full size steel 1911 in it and it has no flex at all. It has the reinforced opening which makes the return to the holster simple enough and even with the leather 'comfort' tab or whatever it is called, it doesn't hinder the draw one bit.
When I started looking for a new holster for a new gun (yeah, I know, poor me, lol), I was looking at the Crossbreed holsters because they just looked plain comfortable but they also are really big and I am not so sure of the belt clips. When I saw the N3 though, it looked like a good balance and compromise of comfort and ability to draw. Another thing I have liked about it is the fact that it is a small holster and not drawn out halfway across your body like many of the other comfort carry systems/holsters out there.
So there's my piece on it, has anyone else gotten one and liked it or not liked it, etc?
