Do they sell a BL target thats been dead for several years and you just tell people you shot it recently? How much is that one?

i like the idea.....just too darn pricey for something thats going to be shot and tossed out.

i almost feel compelled to bust out the paper mache, spray paint, paintballs, and expanding foam........and see how close i can come to making my own....

...bet you could bang one out in a weekend for under $20

I'd rather fill small round ballons with colored goo of some sort... maybe red gelatin so the splatters stick to the backstop. On second thought... nahh.;)

i am the only one that find his backstop questionable?
I am giving the person the benefit of the doubt and will assume those plants are growing on a berm he is shooting into. They could also be shooting into a large cliff which has weeds growing in front of it.
Hard to say without a better picture.

That zombie has a pretty interesting resemblance to something else.

I think so too.
Overall I think they are overpriced and one in particular is done in pretty poor taste.

Doesn't strike me as a a very good idea. I can almost hear the antis screaming already. I used to have some popup cardboard or plywood targets in a ravine on my land, which another person who was outside the ravine and out of the field of fire controlled, so you didn't know where or when one would pop up. Seems to me they were probably better. A whole lot cheaper too.

Good review, but I think most buyers will be very disappointed if they're looking for "Deadliest Warrior" dummy behavior. At $90 they probably won't get a lot of takers, but they don't have to.

I do use some of their zombie paper targets http://www.zombietargets.net and they make for more fun than just shooting at IPSC targets. I will probably add some of the paper targets from the folks as well.

Yeah, it's clearly just a fun factor kind of thing. I'd like to shoot some just to see for myself. Brilliant marketing on the part of the maker. I think tapping into the gamin/fantasy crowd is fantastic marketing. Look at all the high priced fantasy blades and replicas sold. It's a solid market at this point.

I also think these to be in bad taste, just my opinion. I don't need to be shooting something that "bleeds" in order to be having a good time. Just being able to hit an object at whatever distance satisfies my desire to shoot and maintain healthy shooting-sports.
