Was 43 degrees here in NW Pennsylvania, which isn't too bad for November 10 around here. A friend and I grabbed some revolvers and hit the range. I took my 1955 Highway Patrolman, 3" M60 Pro and my 617, but didn't get around to shooting the 22. My friend brought a 28-2 and an SP101.
We did most of the shooting in the 25 to 100 feet range
I am considering hunting whitetail with my Highway Patrolman this year. We moved back across the muddy section and found a place down in behind some logs where we could take a sitting shot and rest our firearms in the log with the target at 45 yards
Here is my first shot with the big N frame from here
And here it is after the next 5 shots. I knew I mashed the trigger and pulled that one off as soon as the trigger broke, but otherwise I was very happy with the results at 45 yards
Had a good time shooting for 2 hours and created 250 pieces of empty brass for me to reload
