Rifle bullet, 198 grain SWAT, what's SWAT?

I have a couple of boxes of 8mm Mauser ammunition identified as "198 grain SWAT" What does the "SWAT" stand for? I have gone over every bullet acronym I can think of and I still have no idea what "SWAT" stands for.

Since they had a 198 gr Police SWAT listed and a phone number, I called them to ask. They just said it was a more accurate round and that it wasn't a specific bullet type.

So, apparently it's some sort of accurized ammo. Who knew?

It's mentioned here and there. The consistency is that it seems like a round specifically designed for close-quarters in order to offer good stopping power without overpenetration.
