Rifle cartridges you dislike for no real reason

I know, I just figured all of us who commented are just a bunch of guys that throw the directions out with the packing material...and here we are. :D
I’ll have you know that, for Christmas, I put my youngest daughters toy shopping cart together without any instruction manual. And it mostly works. Had to use my own gorilla glue and zip ties though. These toy companies are getting really cheap.

They always forget the gorrilla glue and zip ties, but they always have plenty of extra unnecessary parts.

It's funny the title states "Rifle Cartridges you Dislike for no real reason." And everyone precedes to give a reason. :D

I would post some cartridges, but I have reasons why I don't like them, so I'm in a conundrum with the thread.

I can't help but explain and it would be a much less interesting read if we all just said "270"

6.5 Creedmoore.
Its the official round of the "I need a diesel dually truck to pick up my groceries, and I need to put exhaust enhancers to make it sound like a semi, and idle it for 40 minutes at 5:00 AM" crowd.

Its also the official round of the "I can shoot, this scope/ammo/rifle just suck" crowd.

Its also the official round of the "I play C.O.D., so I must be naturally talented, so I need the best equipment, I'm going to buy a $1600 precision rifle, $400 in ammo, and do bolt-action mag-dumps because I don't know what to do, and am too emotionally fragile to seek help" crowd.

Most importantly its the official round of the "the magazine told me its the best round, and I don't understand the concept of bias, or misdirection" crowd.

That said, its a fine round and I have no real problem with it. Its just what comes to mind. Of course its adaptors probably have the same thing to say about me when I refuse to stop calling it the 6-5 Swede-more.
"oh that idiots part of the .308 is all you need to do anything from swat flies to disable satellites crowd. Probably still drives a carbureted car, and uses 56k"

ETA -This post was meant as a joke mostly. If you fit one of the caricature, no offense intended.

Don't hold back, tell us how you really think!

This is the level of rage for a chunk of metal and powder that I'm here for, and I LOVE IT.

I don’t really dislike the Creedmoor, it’s more a tire of the endless promotion of a cartridge of which its greatest achievement is matching a 120 year old cartridge in a short action that happens to work in magazine patterned rifles.

Which all the above is great and it looks to be a good round just like the 260 and 6.5 Swede already are.

But I do have fun being on the other side of the fence, usually I’m getting labeled the sucker in my affinity for Glocks, so it feels nice to razz some people for a change.

Life gets boring and dull if we can’t have a little bit of fun with each other.

I have no need and no love for .223 or 5.56 NATO. It's not that I don't have reasons, but this is a "No Reason" thread so I won't list the reasons.

It's not that .223/5.56 doesn't have limited roles where it's a good choice. Sometimes it is.

Just saying we've had decades to develop better options. Politics more than any other factor has frustrated progress.

17 caliber cartridges!!! Why do we have them???
The 17 HMR literally "explodes" starlings in the current bushes behind the garden - about 30 yards from the back deck. However, the 20 caliber Sheridan "Blue Streak" pellets kills the starlings just as dead (minus the "explosions") and it doesn't make the neighbors come out on their back deck to see what we're shooting at.;)

300 Ham'r, just because of the name
Don't think of it as a lazy spelling of hammer. It's a Ham Getter =Ham'r
Because Pork'r was probably taken and Pig'r wouldn't make any sense whatsoever.

I'm pretty much sick of all the cartridge nicknames that have nothing to do with the company or individuals who created them. Creedmoor, Beowulf, Grendel, Hansel, Gretel, etc.
Or good old fractional offerings that get updated and re-marketed as an "all new" metric wonder round.
