Rifle sight for model 12 Winchester

I bought A well used model 12. The gun has A cutts comp choke and A williams ghost ring rear sight on it. The plan is to cut the barrel to 18". I want to be able to use the ghost ring sight. The currant front sight is on the comp so I will need A taller sight. Any suggestions?
And for those concerned This is in no way A collector piece. But I think it will be A nice old home protector.

The XS clamp-on band might or might not work on an old Model 12.
They had much thinner tapered barrel walls then todays Remingtons.

You would have to measure your barrel at the sight location and see if it is .860-.885" dia.

I like the ramp. I don't have the gun home yet. I will measure to see if it will work. I have A couple 3/8 dovetail sights around here somewhere.
