I just purchased a .22 conversion kit for my 1911 as a new play toy. I understand that dry firing any rimfire is not good. I want to protect my kit by putting a snap cap in the magazine first before loading any live rounds so the firing pin will be protected when it goes "click" after the magazine is empty. I looked around but haven't come up with much for .22 snap caps. I normally use triple K as my preference but I can't find them online at Brownell's. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I can find some good snap caps for my .22 kit?
