rings for dovetail grooves

I have an old savage 22 hornet and it has the dovetail grooves to mount a scope. This might sound dumb but I'm used to bases. will all 3/8" dovetail rings fit?

They should.

Weaver .22 Tip-Off 3/8" dovetail receiver grooves & scope rings were standardized in the early 1950's.

There never was any other size receiver dovetail used in the USA as far as I know.
