The RMR order for 9mm 115Gr FMJ that I ordered on August 27th arrived yesterday. 12 weeks vs the 8 weeks they said when I ordered. I will give RMR praise for their customer service and communications with the unexpected delays. I know that they had machine issues and what not.

My order also took 12 weeks but they kept me updated all the way and the price was much lower than anywhere else so no complaints here.

I put in another order back in October just to get in line.

I'm not complaining about the 12 week wait. They said 8 weeks on the website back in August and I know that they had machines go down and other things go wrong for them since then. Their customer service is top notch in my book. They sent regular updates on shipping which was nice. I will buy from them again. I do hope that they get the machines all up and running and that they can catchup with the backorders. I know they are doing their best to do that.

10 weeks to get my 124 grain MPRs. No complaints from me! I appreciate the quality of the product and the service.

ETA: Based on Jake's note below, I went back and checked the dates. Sure enough, 8 weeks almost to the day, not 10 as I originally posted. See my apology below.

Sorry about the delay in shipping. For some reason August was a stupid high volume month. Before this year our biggest year in total sales was $2.6 million. That was an awesome year and it kept us stupid busy. August alone was $1.2 million. It took us completely by surprise. We are finally through August so it should speed up from here, but that month was like 6 months worth of orders. It's an awesome problem to have but in my mind it is a problem. That said, it should not have taken 10 weeks for 124 MPR. The most we ever got behind on MPR was 8 weeks. Right now we are at about 6 weeks. The big one that's killing us right now is the 115 FMJ. That why I just bit the bullet and ordered another machine that will make 260 of them a minute. We hope it shows up at the end of this week. Might be the beginning of next week though. Once that one is going we will be able to make 240,000 115 FMJ RN a day. We're gonna get caught up in a couple of months assuming our crew doesn't have any more house fires and I can kick this Corona d-bag out of my house.

@longdayjake, based on your note I went back and checked the dates on my order. You are correct; almost 8 weeks to the day, not 10 as I posted above. I am sorry for misreporting the timeframe. And thanks again for the excellent service. As noted above, I have no complaints. I appreciate all you are doing during these crazy times.

I don't think that any of us here are complaining about the shipping times since we know that you had several things to deal with such as: getting slammed with orders, machines go down, house fires, etc. And we all appreciate the email updates that you sent out. I hope that things smooth out for you. I will be a repeat customer for sure. I would rather have a company tell me up front about shipping delays than to find out after I order. I also like how you did send out shipping updates to all of us too.

I ordered some 124's that arrived in under 8 weeks. Just being able to backorder is a huge benefit. No constant searching, like primers. Great bullets, great price. Thanks!

Customer for life here.

I remember way back when RMR started and was selling whatever they could get their hands on. The customer service was amazing and the prices were in line with the market. As we went through one shortage then another and so on, companies true colors emerged. RMR is/was always pretty upfront in how they conducted business and really the main reason I'll keep coming back on top of their great products.

I also recall (keep me honest here Jake) reading something a while back about how the owner of Xtreme threw some pretty nasty comments towards RMR. Essentially saying they don't have a prayer to stay afloat and that xtreme will crush them. Well, now they've gone bankrupt (2018) and been bailed out... just proof RMR is here to stay and will continue to grow simply by being a reputable business. Nuff said.

I can wait 8 weeks knowing I'm getting a great product at a great price from a great company.

The former owner of Xtreme tried to take over RMR by telling me he would put me out of business and that I should just go work for him. He wanted me to GIVE him RMR in return for a salary. At the time we were struggling quite a bit and had he offered anything reasonable he probably could have bought me out. I turned him down and since then we've heard a lot from the industry about how he has tried to hurt our business. It didn't work. Most of the industry is supportive of small businesses and they kind of carried us along for a couple of years until we started making our own. Even then, we struggled until last year. We've now been in business for about 13 years and we are just barely making good money. I feel sorry for anyone trying to join the industry right now. Granted, I didn't start out here. It all started out with $400 on a credit card and some pulled ss109s. Now we can make 250,000 bullets a day and about to be 350,000 a day.
