My Romanian Tokarev pistol arrived and I took possession today.
Not too shabby but the upper and lower numbers are mismatched.
The barrel is serial matched to the slide though.
Grips are original and a thumb safety has been added to the left side just below the slide stop.
It works like a 1911 safety and blocks all trigger movement and works whether the pistol is full cocked or hammer down.
The gun came with a crude flap holster made from thin leather, probably goat or sheep, a cleaning rod, lanyard of pigskin, and a spare magazine.
Both magazines were the looped style and I also ordered two spares which came in with non-loop bases and as new.
If you like Tokarevs you will probably want one of these.
I came up with a couple boxes of Romanian ammo and will shoot this thing when the ice storm subsides.
