Wouldn't that be nice.I think tha there could be enough Libertarians running for office that they could take over the Republican Party.
I hope for the best but fear the worst.
When Pat Buchanan first ran for the Republican nomination he was hugely popular. Totally outgunned in terms of funding, as compared to the Republican anointed candidates, yet he was winning the early primaries, and would likely have won the nomination. To stop him, the establishment Republicans formed an unholy alliance with the mainstream media and the Democrat Party machine to destroy his reputation. All the sudden, all you ever saw were establishment Republicans trashing him on TV, suggesting he was a Nazi and a gun nut. He was made to look foolish constantly in the mainstream media. That was it. The general public fell for it, and he started losing primaries left and right, and was soon a footnote. Don't be surprise if we see a reprise of this same unholy alliance to destroy Ron Paul.Ah, but if our election system still works as many think then what some bureaucrats think will not matter, it's the votes that will.
Exactly. I will not totally give up hope, though. You never know. The Soviet Union actually imploded in the late 1990s. Who would have ever guessed that was possible? That's until the Skull-n-Bones boys meet and select two more frat brothers to run against each other.
. He was made to look foolish constantly in the mainstream media. That was it. The general public fell for it,
If you stop and think, miracles happen every day! So, to me, there is no reason this miracle shouldn't happen either. To have a true leader for America and it's working class would be nothing short of a miracle.
He might be well liked by people on this board, but most people on this board are pretty far to the right compared to the rest of the voting public
