I was invited to go hunting.
I was told to get a 12 gauge long gun for Chukar, and a 30-06 or around that for Buck.
I was told at Big 5 I can run a slug through a 12 gauge and have good accuracy up to 100 yards or so.
I saw a 12ga Rossi, feels nice enough for the $150 they want, of course the guy says if it goes on sale its typically $100-110.
Well it has a smooth bore, but Rossi's website says it has a modified choke. I can not feel any choke tubes so its actually made into the barrel? Is it safe to shoot slugs, rifled slugs at that? Anyone who has a Rossi 12 gauge would you like to chime in any additional info?
Thanks.
