I have a 357 R92 carbine, really fun gun and accurate as well now, three things I didn't like about it, stupid semi buckhorn sight, even more stupid safety and it's stainless which I don't like at all.
Fitted a truglo front and marbles bulls eye rear will eventually fit a bolt mounted peep sight in place of the safety when Steve's Gunz exports to the UK.
In the interim I'm gonna drill and tap the receiver for a williams peep sight now my 94 win has a side mounted scope on it.
Mine likes 158 grn TC and swc 180 grain hard cast boolits loaded up with 2400 it also likes factory S&B 158 grn fmj TC bullets which are cheap as chips over here in the UK and one of the most cost effective ways of getting good quality brass ( 100 rounds of S&B factory ammo £34, 100 bag of starline brass £27, so I get 100 loads for effectively £7, not bad with primers at £6 per 100,cast boolits at £8.50 a hundred and then there's powder on top of that.
It's become my go to gun and I've put more rounds downrange with it in the past year than I've shot out of all my other guns combined (except the 10/22)
1st pic shows the marble bullseye, 2nd pic shows my Xmas turkey 5 shot group, its the 5 shots on the plain paper, and the 3rd image shows my 30/30 with red dot (sight since sold on) and williams receiver peep and the Rossi.
