rossi R92 proper sling mount?

i was wondering what the proper, and most traditional way to mount a sling on a winchester 1892 clone would be?... the way i can be as close to authentic as i can and have a sling?

Measure the width of your mag tube and order accordingly. It's either the Model GTSW-41 or Model GTSW-43.

would it be at all possible for me to solder a stud to the under side of the nosecap, or somehow drill and screw one to the nosecap without damaging the wood? (its easier to buy a replacement nosecap to do this to than replace a forearm should i ever go back)
