This week I received a letter from Rossi informing of a voluntary safety warning on .38 special and .357 magnum revolvers. Models R351, R352, R461, R462, R851, R971 and R972 with serial numbers beginning with letter Y, Z or A through K. Possibility exists for discharge if dropped. Reference here www.rossisafetynotice.com

Thanks
I had one but traded it while back.
Wish they would go into detail but they never do.

2 - 3 years back I handled a new Rossi revolver in a gun shop. Can't remember the model# ... full lug .38 or 357 , polished stainless if I remember. In noticed excessive rotational cylinder play while in lock up , but here's what really got me - when I rotated the cylinder , hammer down and trigger forward , the trigger moved back and forth under my finger along with the cylinder. I expect that sort of slop in and old worn out H&R , but not in any current day new revolver. That was all the safety warning I needed.

Received my return shipping label today. FEDEX Express prepaid. Pick up on Monday. Only took them six months.
