The Michigan Open Carry movement won a battle as the Royal Oak City Commission voted 4-3 to allow the open carry of firearms at the Ford Arts, Beats and Eats Festival scheduled for Labor Day weekend.

There is also a poll on the editorial page asking "Do you think gun owners should be allowed to openly carry their guns at festivals?" Right now the "No" group has the lead.
