RRA disappointment...

Ordered an upper from them on Jan 30th through their highest sales dealer. Was told 16ish days. I am good with it not being on time but over 90 days with no end in sight is ridiculous. They state they have no idea when they are receiving more barrels from Wilson. That has been the excuse for two orders now. Hard for me to believe they have NO IDEA when they will have product. Bad business to me. Then their CS reps lied to me two more times. Done.

Sad too because I am a fan but enough is enough. Ordered many of their products. ..no more.

If anyone is looking for RRA stuff that has the Wilson barrel I would be leary of quotes if it hasn't been assembled yet.

This particular upper had an Wilson, SS, Fluted barrel.
 
Wow! Never had a problem with RRA as a company, always fast to ship, great warranty. On out sourced parts, its a hard call to blame RRA, but it is their choice to use Wilson..... Good luck!!
 
Thanks. Yeah, I was a fan and still like the accuracy/quality. Two times in a row and a third iffy situation makes them off the table for me now. Too many other players in the game that can match their accuracy for less or about the same price.

It really wasn't that I lost anything waiting besides patience. Just wish they were up front with me, again. Don't tell me 16 days, then claim no idea when it is going to be fulfilled, then tell me it is being built two weeks ago and it should ship by Thursday, then two weeks after that say none of that is right and not sure when it is going to ship....90+ days and counting.
 
My RRA Varmit wears a Wilson. It's the most accurate rifle I own. I bought mine several years back and waited for it. It was well worth the wait.
 
Waiting for good stuff is never a bad thing. Just frustrating when our expectations are not met.
