I know there is a lot of info on this subject on this forum and varying opinions but thought I’d try and try and make the best decision (maybe some can clarify), any opinions in which is the better RSC ? Thanks.

Cobalt or equivalent
~$1000-1100 + delivery (reputable dealer/locksmith) (approx $1150-1300)
60min @1250
59"x30"x26"
Group II UL Listed Combination Lock (LaGard)
620 pounds (some sources incorrectly list at 700 lbs)

Winchester (Sam’s Club)
$644 + tx (approx $700)
*need to provide delivery
30 minute @1400F
59"X 28"X 22"
Electronic lock
~450 lbs (??)

~450 price difference; plus need to pickup...I like the fact the "Diamondback" has a mechanical lock and has a better listed fire rating (and heavier), but not sure if it is worth the extra $$$ for these few features ?

Is it worth the extra? As far as safes go yes.

However, Diamondbacks aren't really sold through very many "reputable" dealers. If you have one locally, that may be one thing, however the company that sells these is pretty much relying on e-bay type sellers. As such, many of us who are really in the business have moved on to different distributors.

You don't really know who you're buying from, which translates to you don't really know who knows about you and your safe. This can be a serious security risk.

It was right here on this forum where one of these "dealers" called out one of their customers by first and last name:

Thanks for your post. I read that entire thread prior to posting my first post.. Utilizing a "reputable" dealer is an important part of security for me and is a concern I have. Thanks for the tips and I will defineately no longer consider Cobalt/Diamond Back safes as an option (thanks for clarifying and the heads up) !! Just curious can anyone recommend what other RSC manufacture/distributer would have the same features/price range as the Cobalt/Diamond Back but have a better reputation and not targeting the ebay community, but have the upgraded features compared to other RSCs ? Thanks.

Eagle Safes is the quasi manufacturer of the Diamondbacks. The same safes are sold under a variety of other brand names, as Eagle will print anybody's brand name on the door so long as they order in quantity.

I sell them on my site. I don't know if anybody local to you would sell them, but I could certainly inquire with my distributors.
