I just picked up a rugar vaquero 44 spec and would like to put some stag grips on it. anyone know where I might find some without breaking the bank? also interested in a leather shoulder holster it has 4 in bbl. thanks

I have several pair of grips by Patrick Grashorn, up in Colorado. They are made from Elk Stag. You might contact him. Around $160, now I think

Sambar Stags will run you about twice that

If you want to save money get the faux stag horn like I put on my 45 Colt Uberti shown below. I got mine from Gripmaker but his grips are sold by others also. I got mine at a show to try out about a year ago now. They are shown at http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=654543 post #3.
