Had my first ruger 1022 about 3yrs ago, it was well....ok. Ended up selling it. Then finally found a ruger 1022 that really caught my attention. It's different and me likes different.

Saw one at my LGS, however in the SS version for $365.99, I passed on it until the next day and found out it was sold the same day I looked at it. He told me that he had another coming in the following week, which it did however it wasn't SS, it was blued and had what appeared to be a walnut stained Mannlicher stock, further he wanted $366.60+tax, and it had a chip on the toe of the stock. BTW did I tell you folks about my luck in getting a (any) rifle with a Mannlicher stock, it's been fruitless to say the least.

Incidentally you have one beautiful rifle there and I'm envious.

CZ makes a nice full length stock 455 (bolt action) I have one and really like it. I have had several mannlicher in Ruger (many 10/22's, and several centerfires), Sako, CZ, etc. I like the loks of them, and they are handy to carry and I really like the looks of them. I think CZ offers by far the best bang for the buck mannlicher now. Keep your eyes open if you are searching for one, and you will find what you are looking for, also you could possible order exactly what you wanted.

Fella's;

That is a pretty gun. If I were in the market for another .22 I'd be interested. However, too many irons in the fire at this time to even contemplate it.

I have had 8 or 9 Talo 10/22s with the full lenght stock through the shop the last 2 years. Some have plain wood and some are gorgeous. I had one with French Walnut that made me droop. I should have kept that one but I sold it.

OP, you need to drop a BX trigger into that rifle and shoot the guts out of it. Congrates.
