I was looking for one of these for three weeks and finally got lucky at gunbroker to get one with a Buy It Now at a good price. Anyway its on the way to my FFL and hopefully i can lay my hands on it tomorrow.
I have a Ruger Mk2 Bull 5.5, it s been 18 years of fun plinking and hunting small games at times. Its been a rewarding experience for me as it was my first rimfire pistol
. Now when i was at a gunshow ist week of Jan i get to handle one of this and was amazed of the 1911 grip feel. I didnt get the gun so i finally decided this time to get the same model but can t find them in stock. But just last Tuesday i browsed into gunbroker and saw this with a Buy It Now price. I right away bought it for the asking price.
It sure is hard nowadays as Ruger is completely backordered of all guns . This particular model has the replaceable 1911 grip panels and are highly sought after. Im just elated in being able to grab one in this time of panic buying.
Looking forward to shooting it on Sunday with my 15 yr old son. I bet he will like it .
