Afternoon all

Can someone help me out here I Am looking at the above rifle it’s NIB and I am wondering what a decent price is for it for the right price I may try to buy it

:thumbup:WOW!! If it's not above, or maybe just slightly above your budget...BUY IT! If I read your description right, it is an International model...full stock and 20" barrel, RS indicates Rings and sights (?). GOOD caliber! I am Jealous! 😍

be aware rugers 6.5 swede and 7 x 57s both have generous throat length and usually only long heavy round nose bullets shoot in them. been there done that...

I’d give $1500 for it in my neck of the woods. Some collectors would pay more. I gave $1650 for a KRSI No. 1 in 6.5x55 a couple years ago and those are bringing north of $2K these days. I sold a KRSI M77 in 7-08 for $1600 a couple years ago, so there’s that.

I haven’t seen that in my M77 or No. 1 chambered in 6.5x55. Both shoot 140 Nosler Accubonds and 140 Hornady SSTs very well.

That’s a good price for that model in my area.

Seems like if what was said about the throat is true, could be turned down and the chamber cleaned up to an appropriate throat length for not too much monies.

Only 18.5" barrel on the new model one.

In 2021 I bought a new, stainless Ruger RSI in .223 for $880 pre tax from a high volume LGS.

Ok so the price is $1,400 which I find to be reasonable and as far as bullet choice she will be fed the Hornady 160 grain RN and yes 20 inch barrel the wood is nice btw
If you decide not to get it, and you are willing, please PM me the dealer/seller info. I have some dies and brass, but no rifle. Darn shame to let that stuff sit idle.

Sounds fair, a little rich for me, but fair nonetheless. 6.5x55 would be a good cartridge for a no.1 in my opinion, especially an rsi. No.1 rifles are always a little rich for me though...
