Got mine out to shoot today. Sighted in with Winchester ball at 50 yards and then shot a few hornady deer loads to see where they landed. Nice trigger, modest recoil, plenty accurate. I think I could probably do a lot with hand loads to tighten up accuracy at longer range.
The action is kind of balky is my only real beef. My buddy's teenage daughter shot it once I sighted in and she was almost instantly sold on it. Right size, low recoil, accurate enough to be fun, plus she wasn't paying for the shells, heh.
