Warning Stupid Revolver Question Ahead


So I have the opportunity to pick up a nice looking Ruger Blackhawk for very cheap from a local seller. It is chambered for .357 Mag and has a 6.5" barrel. I was curious if it was possible to fire a .38 special through this revolver? I already have tons of that ammunition on hand but I don't want the weapon blowing up in my hand.

Yes. Absolutely. Any .38 Spc. load is going to be safe to fire in a revolver chambered for .357.
